KENNEDY PARK WWII INSTALLATIONS PRESERVATION TRUST

The tunnels are open for guided tours on the second Sunday of each month, between 11.00am and 2.00pm.

We would appreciate a gold coin donation and this goes towards the on-going upkeep of this historic facility. Military Historian volunteers will guide you through the tunnels and explain the background to each feature. There are pictorial displays to support the information on the guns and you will learn about one of the finest examples of military defensive camoflage still extant today.

You can bring a torch, however the guides all have good torches to keep you safe! In wet weather, especially during winter, gum boots are advisable.

No dogs in the tunnels, please, although we will look after your pooch while you go through.

A moderate level of fitness is necessary because there are a few larger steps to negotiate.
Special Openings

By arrangement, we will conduct private tours to suit special occasions - youngsters' birthday functions, school outings or special interest groups.

Give us a ring to discuss options, but please try and give us at least a month's notice so we can organise tour guides.
