Do You Like Gardening?
If you are interested in gardening and don't mind volunteering once a month, we would love to have your help to weed the gardens around the Sunnynook Community Centre. We will meet on the 3rd Monday of the month at 9:00am for an hour. Tea/coffee provided.Art Mates - 9:00am to 11:00am - Tawa Room
ART at the community hall, I could not believe my eyes. A place close to home where I didn't have to drive. I just pack up my bag and walk down to the hall A warm friendly place which is open to all. Art you might say shall I give it a go. I've never painted its something I don't know. But hey come on down its really great fun, we all started somewhere and that's half the fun. We're a small friendly group and we will welcome you here and any knowledge we have we will gladly share. So make a decision and join us each week as it's sharing and caring and painting we seek. Companionship and fun activities for seniors. Come along and make new friends. Activities include games, exercise, speakers, craft and much more. ACC approved strength and balance classes every week with a focus on the less mobile. Share morning tea and lunch all for a nominal donation. Transport can be arranged.
